In another terrorist attack, 14 security officials, including seven Frontier Corps (FC) personnel have been martyred in a terrorist attack in Balochistan’s Gwadar district on Thursday. Some sources claim that the attack was carried out by the Baloch Raji Ajoi Sangar (BRAS).

Notably, in May 2020, 7 soldiers were martyred in two separate incidents in Balochistan. In the first incident, six personnel of the Frontier Corps (FC) including a junior commissioned officer (JCO) were martyred when their vehicle hit a landmine in Balochistan, said the military’s media wing. In the second incident, sepoy Imdad Ali was martyred in an exchange of fire in Kech, Balochistan. The attacks have reportedly been carried out by Baloch terrorists.

There is no second opinion that India is fueling and financing terrorism in  Balochistan. Recently, a clip from an Indian talk show has gone viral following the incident. During the talk show, a retired major of the Indian Army Gaurav Arya openly hurled threats at Pakistan and predicted a terror incident in Balochistan ‘in 10-15 days’.Though after the arrest of Kulbhoshan Jhadave Pakistan successfully broke the back of Indian funded terrorists yet India has several links and backing terrorists in Balochistan.

A world organization in its recent report implicated 44 Indian banks and financial institutions, with hundreds of transactions flagged as “top-secret suspicious-activity-reports (SARs).These revelations raise questions about the extent to which the Indian government has participated or turned a blind eye to the financing and sponsoring of terrorist activities in Pakistan, Kashmir and Balochistan, especially given current and former members of India’s armed forces have admitted doing so over the past two decades.

In a recent interview Moeed Youaf, Pakistan’s security adviser while taking an aggressive approach towards Indian sponsored terrorism in Pakistan, revealed new details about millions of dollars in payments made to TTP leadership by RAW officer through Indian Embassy funds. He said Pakistan knows the names and ranks of officers in touch with terror leadership and will soon reveal Indian activities to the world through a detailed dossier based on lengthy investigations. He also revealed that India has financed anti-Pakistan terrorist groups and supported their merger with the TTP earlier this year.
This is an open secrete now that  RAW and its allies sponsored terrorist strikes in Balochistan time and again. They carefully crafted to ignite the sectarian divide in Quetta to spoil the societal and religious harmony among the people of the area and also terrorize the investors, who have been contemplating investing in Balochistan due to the development of Gwadar city’s port and the inauguration of an international airport.
It is a matter of concern now that the terror campaign which had a bread after Kulbhoshan’s arrest has been kicked off again with full force. Indian funded terrorism is again rearing its ugly head in Balochistan and it is time for Pakistan to vehemently respond to terrorism and also bring India’s nefarious designs afore to the world. Pakistan should also bring evidences of Indian funding terrorism and build a strong narrative against this. Pakistan should not let Baloch separatists to once again wreak havoc in the country.
