Nine people reported dead as a choper crash in Srikot area of Mansehra district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Mansehra District Police Officer Mujeebur Rehman confirmed the incident, saying at least nine people onboard the copter had died. He said relief and rescue teams are on their way to the crash site. It was not immediately clear whether the helicopter was owned by Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government or the military which had crashed, or what had caused it to go down. District police officer Sher Akbar confirmed that a helicopter had crashed, however, further investigations are in progress.Earlier today, a Pakistan Air Force helicopter, engaged in relief and rescue efforts, crashed in the Khot area of upper Chitral, injuring several people.
