Imam Sadeq (AS) said: The residents of Hell are there forever because they intended that if they could live on earth forever, disobey God forever and the residents of the paradise are there forever because they intended that if they lived on earth forever to obey God at all times. Therefore these two groups have become eternal because of their intentions, then Imam (AS) recited God’s saying: Say, everyone acts according to his/her method and manner and Imam Sadeq (AS) explained: Meaning according to his/her intention [1].
