Pakistan, India DGMOs agree on LoC ceasefire: ISPR

Shafaqna Pakistan: The director-generals of military operations of India and Pakistan reviewed the situation along the Line of Control and all other sectors in a “free, frank and cordial atmosphere”, the ISPR said Thursday.

As an important move to de-escalate tensions between both countries, the Director Generals of Military Operations (DGMO) of Pakistan and India on Thursday have agreed on Line of Control (LoC) ceasefire.

The DGMOs of both the countries have contacted at hotline and reviewed situation along the LoC. The Pakistani military media wing has told that the discussion was held in a friendly environment.

Pakistan and Indian authorities have also expressed their will to address the concerns for peace and stability in the region, ISPR stated.
