Sindh Government has decided to establish a counter-terrorism force in the province, private media reported.
According to details,a meeting of Sindh’s apex committee regarding the National Action Plan (NAP) presided over by Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah today concluded that a counter-terrorism force, consisting of 1000 personnel, would be established for the province.
The meeting, attended by Governor Sindh Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan, Core-Commander Karachi Lieutenant Gen. Naveed Mukhtar, and Director General (DG) Rangers Bilal Akbar, also announced that the counter-terrorism force would be trained by Pakistan Army.
