Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) head and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Chief Fazlur Rehman has announced that PDM will not attend today’s National Assembly session.

Talking to media in Sukkur, Fazlur Rehman said that with the absence of opposition parties, Saturday’s session would have no political significance. No opposition member will attend the National Assembly session tomorrow. Imran Khan has lost the confidence of the majority, even the President has said so.

Fazlur Rehman said that we do not recognize the present government as the public’s representative. The Prime Minister’s address to the nation reflected defeat. He has called his own party members sell-outs by saying that votes were sold in the Senate election.

He said that PM has already lost vote of confidence in the shape of Yousaf Raza Gillani’s victory. He is free to hold tomorrow’s session, just as he continues to rule with a fake mandate, said Fazlur Rehman.
