Ghulam Hur Shabbiri is a renowned religious scholar equally popular in Pakistan and Europe. He belongs to the alumni of “ Jauza Ilmia” of Qum, Iran. After enlightening the Muslims of USA for ten years he became associated with Islamic centers of United Kingdom. In his interview with Shafaqna he vividly explained the state of Shiite Muslims in Pakistan and increasing fanaticism among Muslim world. Apart from this he also discussed the important aspects of life of Charismatic leader martyred Arif Husseni. Allama Hur Shabbiri in his exclusive talks with Shafaqna said that Ignorance is one of the key factors that fans religious extremism and motor behind differences and contentions among Muslims. He emphasized that when the difference is based on mere criticism it is undoubtedly grounds on ignorance and this is the key issued today exists between Shiite and Sunni school of thoughts however he was optimistic that Islam will dominate the world. Responding to a question regarding martyred Allama Arif Husseni , he said that he was a practical, pious and a virtuous personality. He was the emblem of Shiite-Sunni unity and till the last breath of his life he continued his struggle to bridge differences between both the sects. He was a multi-dimensional personality that actively participated in political matters as well.
