ECP statistics show gap of over 12 million between male, female voters

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has released statistics on the number of registered voters in the country which showed a gap of more than 12.4 million between male and female voters.

According to latest statistics released by Election Commission on Tuesday, there are 118,224,697 registered voters in the country out of which 65,300,735 (55%) are male and 52,923,962 (45%) are female voters.

Punjab: The total number of registered voters in Punjab is 67,521,257 out of which 37,001,026 (55%) are male and 30,520,231 (45%) female voters.

Sindh: In Sindh the total number of voters is 24,945,595, including 13,751,191 (55%) male and 11,194,404 (45pc) female.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the total number of voters stands at 19,961,414, including 11,271,917 (56pc) male and 8,689,497 (44pc) female.

Balochistan: In Balochistan the total number of voters comes to 4,919,457, including 2,814,156 (57pc) male and 2,105,301 (43pc) female voters.

Islamabad: The total number of voters in the Federal Capital Islamabad comes to 876,974, including 462,445 (53pc) male and 414,529 (47pc) female voters.
