Shehbaz Sharif condemns martyrdom of Kashmiri youth in Bandipora

PML-N President and Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the martyrdom of a Kashmiri youth in Bandipora by the Indian troops.

In a statement, the PML-N president said that India is guilty of serious violations of human rights under international law and humanity. He also mentioned that Indian atrocities against humanity have been increased many times especially in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir since August 5, 2019.

Shehbaz Sharif said that the series of grave human rights violations are continued in Occupied Kashmir even India has become the president of UN Security Council (UNSC) in August.

He said that the civilized world should demand from India to implement the resolutions of the Security Council on Jammu and Kashmir. “Neither the brave and freedom-loving people of Kashmir have accepted slavery nor will do so in the future,” he added.

The former Punjab chief minister maintained that defeat is the destiny of India. “The sacrifices of the people of Kashmir will undoubtedly lead the Kashmiri freedom struggle to its logical conclusion as well as overall the humanity pays tribute to their courage, determination and steadfastness. May Allah Almighty elevate the ranks of the martyrs and grant patience to the survivors,” he said.

Earlier in the day, the Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred a Kashmiri youth in Bandipora district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops killed the youth during a cordon and search operation at Chandaji area of the district. The operation was going on till last reports came in. The authorities suspended internet and mobile services in the area.
