Shafaqna Pakistan: Father assaulted and murdered his daughter for marrying man of her choice in Thatta.
According to the police sources, father was arrested on husband s complaint.
The victim was visiting her parent’s house after two months. She was kicked out for marrying a man of her choice. According to the woman’s husband, her father was upset with her.
Benazir Lakho of Gadhu city got married to Rajab Ali Unar two months ago and the girl s family was not happy on her. Hamza Lakho, the girl s father, called her a few days back and asked her to meet him.
The suspect assaulted the victim and killed her after drowning in the water. He also buried her silently.
After the information, the girl s husband Rajab Unar contacted the police and registered a case. Lakho has been arrested and a case has been registered against him and his accomplices. The police are investigating the case.
