India on Thursday confirmed the presence of Baloch activist Balaach Pardili in New Delhi.Vikas Swarup, official spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, said the presence of the Baloch representative proves again that “India has always been home to the persecuted people from all over the world.” Meanwhile, Pakistan said the presence of Pardili in Delhi proves India is fomenting trouble in Balochistan. A Pakistani diplomatic source said that in response, Pakistan might take up issues in India’s North-eastern region, The Hindu reported. For the last over a decade, Pakistan has been raising its voice at the bilateral and international levels about Indian support to anti state elements and New Delhi, which talks of non-interference in the internal affairs of neighbouring countries, had been in repeated denial. After the documentary proof was presented to the UN and it was being shared with other major powers, India has openly admitted that the head of militant outfit Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) Hyrbyair Marri was nowadays in New Delhi. Baloch nationalists, staying in UK and other countries are being financed by India because, on their own, they do not have the means to afford luxurious life abroad. The visit by Marri, being hosted by RAW is a hostile act of India towards Pakistan and thus establishes charges by Pakistan of Indian hand in the de-stabilisation of Balochistan. Marri also confirmed to The Hindu newspaper that an organisation known as “Pardili” is representing him in India. Visit of Marri to India has come at a time when the security forces have succeeded in restoring near normalcy in Balochistan after the announcement by the government to welcome back those on the mountains who would voluntarily lay down their arms and would be given grants for their resettlement. Perturbed over the developing situation in the Province, Marri’s visit to India has a definite agenda to boost the terrorist activities of BLA and for that purpose, he has had talks with heads of RAW and in the office of National Security Advisor dealing with Pakistan. Now that the real Indian face has been exposed, it is essential that the Foreign Office must convey its serious concerns to the US, UK and other countries about the Indian designs and at the same time the Security Agencies and Forces should keep a close watch to foil the nefarious Indian designs.
