The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa(KPK) government, on Tuesday, announced to make the ten billion trees tsunami project of Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan successful.
Chairing a review meeting on the on-going monsoon tree plantation drive in Peshawar, Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan expressed his determination.
According to the details, he was briefed that a target of planting fifty-eight million saplings is set for the current plantation drive.
A total of eight million saplings have been planted from 1st to 14th August in the province.
CM Mahmood Khan, lauding the plan expressed his satisfaction over the plantation drive and directed the concerned authorities to ensure achieving the set target in time.
He directed to make PC-1s a compulsory part of all public sector projects.
CM Mehmood emphasized on all the departments to play their role effectively for making the province and the country cleaner and greener.
