The Punjab government, on Friday, introduced an online system for the tendering process of the government projects.
According to details, the system has been introduced on the directives of Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar to ensure the feasibility of contractors and transparency of the projects.
Under the first phase, online tenders have been received for development projects worth Rs 50 million and above while in the next phase, the tendering of all projects will be conducted online.
