In a bid to surging COVID-19 cases, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has directed to keep markets closed for two days in a week.
According to details, the decision was taken in a meeting of the provincial anti-corona task force chaired by Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan in Peshawar.
The task force, expressing its concerns over sharply surging COVID-19 cases, said that the strict implementation of corona Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) should be observed across provinces.
Moreover, the assistance of the Pakistan Army to make sure the implementation of SOPs across KP province is also expected.
It was concluded that the practice of blocking the mobile phone SIMs of unvaccinated citizens by the 15th of next month will be executed.
