Shafaqna Pakistan: The talks between farmers and administration are expected to start soon as heavy rain on Saturday morning caused disruption in the farmers’ dharna here.
It was a chaotic situation with regard to food and accommodation following the rain. However, farmers have erected water-proof tents, but the capacity of such tents is small. The main tent leaked at various places, causing inconvenience to the farmers.
Protesting farmers took shelter in the verandha of the SCOs of Sector 12, opposite the mini secretariat.
In the last round of talks which lasted for around four hours on Friday evening, all demands of the farmers were discussed.
It is expected that the fresh round of talks may yield concrete results as both the administration and farmer leaders described the last meeting as positive.
