Core Commander Quetta Lieutenant General Nasir Janjua visited Afghanistan where he discussed matters of Border security and bilateral cooperation with his Afghani counterpart.
According to ISPR the Core Commander Quetta was on a one day visit to Afghanistan where he met Core Commander Kandahar Major General Abdul Hamid and discussed matters related to joint border coordination centre and mutual linkages.
Earlier on 18th January, Core Commander Peshawar Lieutenant General Hidayat ur Rehman had also visited Kabul.
According to ISPR the aim behind the visit of Pakistan army’s high officials to Afghanistan was to further consolidate Pak-Afghan military relations.
