In an expected move, especially Pakistan’s parliament decided not to engage in Yemen war, Leaders of Pakistan’s religious parties vented their anger against Pakistan’s government and vowed to defend the Holy land. According to Dawn” Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) chief Maulana Muhammad Ahmad Ludhianvi has decried the resolution passed by the parliament on Yemen as “against the will of the people” and “a waste of time”. One wonder how it could be against the will of the people, when it was decided by the public representatives. Ludhianvi, thinks that he and other religious parties are representing will of the people? Doesn’t it sound Hilarious? “If our government does not take the decision, we will go to Saudi Arabia, just like Ameer Ansar Ul Ummah Fazal-ur-Rehman Khalil went to Afghanistan,” he said.
It is very ironic that a Mullah deems himself the only savior of holy places. He might be in some illusion. First, there is no threat to holy places at all, as the war is being fought on the land of Yemen, not on the land of Saudia and second if such someone poses threats to Holy places, certainly entire Ummah without discrimination of Sunni, Shiite, Salafi or else would died of defending holy places. Ludhianvi is just playing politics in the name of Islam, he thinks that all among 180 million are fool.
