Last Friday, Kamel Daoud exposed the reality of ISIS and his op-Ed translated into English which was published in The New York Times with the title Saudi Arabia, an ISIS That Has Made It. The op-Ed was challenging enough for the West and its allies who are fighting against terrorism around the world, especially its fight against ISIS to revisit its policy about KSA. Kamel said West shakes hands with one and fights with others.
He calls Saudi Arabia white Daesh as it does the same as ISIS fighters do but in different dress.
Indeed, he is very right in his opinion about the West has been maintaining a double standard. He talked about Fatwa valley, which lies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Where, its rulers hide behind the religious clergy and deceive people. He opines that we need to cut those roots which pave the way for youth to become radicals and Islamists. We cannot win the war against extremism and terrorism unless we eradicate and destroy Fatwa factories.
The article is well written and very worth reading. It’s an eye opener for the West and its policies.
