Sacrifices of Model Town victims will not go in vain: Tahir-ul-Qadri

ISTANBUL: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the nation is awaiting Rangers’ action against the culprits of Model Town incident, ARY News reports.

Speaking to media after reaching Turkey’s capital Istanbul from Canada’s city of Toronto, Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri said that he is returning to Pakistan for World Milad Conference.

He added that he has not forgotten the victims of the Model Town incident nor will their sacrifices go in van

He claimed that he is not scared by the case which has been filed against him in light of a fake First Information Report (FIR).

Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri will reach Lahore on 22nd December.

At least 14 people were killed and more than 90 were reportedly injured when activists of PAT and Police locked horns in Lahore’s Model Town area.

An anti terrorism court had indicted 46 suspects in the case.
