RAWALPINDI: An explosion in Chittian Hattian area of Rawalpindi on Friday evening left at least three dead, Express News reported.
According to Express News correspondent Imran Asghar, rescue workers and security officials say they have received reports of an explosion in Chittian Hattian.
According to initial rescue workers, the blast took place inside a house adjacent to Imambargah Rizvia where a milad was being held in Chittian Hattian, causing extensive damage to the house.
So far, there are reports of three people dead.
The area is densely populated with Lal Haveli also located in the same vicinity. An Imambargah is also located in the same area.
