Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan said on Tuesday that he would announce ‘good news’ pertaining to his marriage this week.
In a press conference, Khan responded to a question about his marriage reports by stating that he wanted to speak with his sons prior to making any decision pertaining to his marriage.
The majority of the press conference was focused on PTI’s allegation of rigging during the 2013 general elections. Khan told reporters that the government should form the judicial commission to probe rigging allegations by January 18.
Khan Responds to Marriage Reports
Earlier while speaking to reporters at Heathrow airport on Monday night before boarding a flight, Imran Khan said he was going to share good news with the nation in due time and that he had nothing to hide, as he was questioned about his marriage rumours.
He was quoted as saying, “Is it an offense to wed, is it something to hide?”
This came days after he had responded to reports about his second marriage terming them as rumours saying, “In response to all the rumours about my marriage I want to say that I have, in the presence of my supporters, publicly expressed my wish to remarry,” Khan said in a statement issued on the PTI website.
He has also taken to his Twitter account calling reports regarding his marriage as ‘greatly exaggerated.’
The rumours regarding Khan’s marriage had also been denied by his sister Aleema Khan.

According to a fresh Daily Mail report on Tuesday, Imran Khan confirmed last night that he has secretly married a former BBC weather girl days after his family said he had denied it – provoking a furious reaction from his sister.
Khan Meets Sons in London
According to Khan’s family sources, he was in London to take his sons into confidence about his marriage plans. Khan met his sons at the residence of his former mother-in-law and informed them that he wants to remarry. Family sources add that Khan’s sons are not happy with their father’s decision.
