Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Saturday said that the decision to end the Islamabad sit-in was his own and denied having ever received dictation from anyone in his entire life.
According to a statement issued here, the PTI chief said it was the demand of the nation from the political leadership to come on the same page in the wake of Peshawar massacre, adding that nobody telephoned him to end the sit-in against the alleged rigging of elections.
“Political leadership has, for the first time, joined hands to take up the challenge of fighting terrorists”, Khan said.
He said his party would not return to the assemblies until the Judicial Commission (JC) announces results in connection with the alleged rigging of May 11 elections.
Imran Khan said Election Tribunal will announce results of investigation into rigging in NA-122 by the coming Monday, saying any statement before the official announcement will be called ‘match-fixing’.
