A ceremony was held in Multan, Pakistan, to honor the winners of a regional Quran competition.
The event was organized by the Iranian Cultural Center in Pakistan and the Iranian Culture House in Multan, in collaboration with the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO). Various Quranic and Islamic organizations from the city also contributed to the event.
The judging panel included prominent Shia and Sunni Quran experts such as Hussein Ali, Mahmoud al-Hassan, Muid Asghar Kadhimi, and Sayid Hassanayn Ali Gilani.
A total of 50 Quran activists from different parts of the region took part in the competition’s preliminary stage.
They competed in the categories of Quran memorization and recitation.
Eighteen contenders made it to the final round where they vied for the top prize.
The top three winners in each category were awarded at the ceremony.
