The organizing committee of Iran’s 47th National Holy Quran Competition has revealed the names of the contenders who have qualified for the final round.
A total of 713 participants, selected based on their outstanding performances in the preliminary stages, will compete in the finals.
The contestants will showcase their skills across various categories, including Quran recitation, Tarteel (melodic recitation), memorization of the Quran, Adhan (call to prayer), and the recitation of supplications.
This competition highlights the dedication and talent of individuals committed to the recitation and memorization of the Quran.
The Islamic Republic of Iran’s National Quran Competition is annually held by the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization with the participation of top Quran activists from across the country.
It is aimed at discovering Quranic talents and promoting Quranic activities in society.
The top winners of the competition will represent Iran in the international Quran competitions across the world.
This year’s competition is held in commemoration of the “Martyrs of Service”, namely former President Ebrahim Raisi and his companions who were killed in a helicopter crash in May.
