Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has announced plans to hold funeral prayers in absentia for Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah.
He called on the Islamic world to speak out against Israeli atrocities in Gaza and Lebanon.
On Sunday, JI will conduct nationwide protests to demonstrate solidarity with the people of Palestine and Lebanon.
Lebanon’s Hezbollah confirmed on Saturday martyrdom of Hezbollah Chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in Israeli strikes that wipe out many Beirut buildings.
Notwithstanding the lost of its leader who led the resistance movement for almost three decades, the group vowed to continue its battle against Israel.
