Earlier, Pakistan condemned the escalating Israeli actions in the Middle East, describing the attacks on civilian populations and violations of international law as alarming. The spokesperson stated, “For several days, Israeli forces have been engaging in unacceptable violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty, targeting civilian areas and threatening its stability.”
Pakistan expressed its condolences to the families of victims of Israeli aggression and the people of Lebanon. The recent attack that targeted Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah was highlighted as a significant escalation in the already tense region.
The statement concluded by reaffirming Pakistan’s solidarity with the people of Lebanon and calling on the United Nations Security Council to hold Israel accountable for its actions and to work toward restoring peace in the Middle East.
