According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), approximately 15.8 million people in Afghanistan will require food and livelihood assistance this winter.
OCHA has warned that the risks associated with the upcoming winter are significant, with millions of Afghans lacking adequate shelter and winter clothing.
To address these urgent needs, OCHA has stated that it requires $500 million to support those in need throughout the winter months in Afghanistan.
