SHAFAQNA PAKISTAN (Shia News Agency)
Religious extremism has no bounds and no limitations to brutality. In the name of religion, the zealots have broken the records of brutality. This time the extremists wreaked havoc in Kenya by Al-Shabab group. They stormed the Kenyan University killing almost 147 people. It was the worst bombing since 1998 of US embassy in Nairobi. Al-Shabab is a Somali-Kenyan militant group.
Similarly in December 2014, TTP terrorist in a killing spree killed 153 students of army public school in Peshawar, which shows a dangerous trend of targeting students in schools, colleges and universities. Nothing is sacred, not even children or young people studying in schools and colleges. In fact, students and/or educational infrastructure — not to mention other soft targets — are increasingly being targeted by terrorists, whether by Boko Haram in Nigeria or the TTP in Pakistan or Al-Shabab in Kenya. World should chalk out a plant or conceived strategy to counter this dangerous trend of attacking educational institutions because terrorists want to annihilate young generations that have capacity and courage to fight out terrorism.
