On Jan1,2015 A suspected Pakistani boat claimed by India’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party to be on a terror mission exploded in the Arabian Sea on New Year’s eve following a chase. Soon after the incident Indian Media alleged that it was a boat of LeT terrorists and it was on mission to spread terror in the country. Indian Coast Guard officials stated that no body or debris was found due to bad weather. Moreover, it was also stated that search was on for another boat which they claimed was in communication with the capsized boat. Couple of week later, a senior Indian navy official spelt the bean by saying that , the vessel belonged to smugglers and it has nothing to do with Pakistan. It has been observed on number of occasions that after every terrorists incident India at once accuses Pakistan without prior investigation and evidences and in most of the cases India has failed to substantiate its claims. For example, in the case of Afzal Guru, the main accused in the case of the alleged attack on Indian Parliament building on December 13, 2001, was tried and sent to the gallows despite the fact that the evidence presented against him by the prosecutors was flimsy and baseless.
If the India continues to behave irresponsibly, the ties between both the countries cannot improve. Pakistan is similarly facing unnerving degree of terrorism as India. The cold-war between India and Pakistan must be over now. Until there are changes of mind both the countries cannot come closers and it can only be done by the brainwashing of upcoming generations through syllabus and constant inculcation of better ties with neighboring countries.
