Saudia led coalition has started frequent attack on Yemen Houthis in a bid to stop them advancing towards Aden the bordering area of Saudi Arabia. Apparently it seems that Saudis have problem with Houthis but internally they have problem with Iran. In the Iran-Iraq war – which lasted for eight years and drained both Iran and Iraq – the same kingdoms and sheikhdoms gave money to Saddam Hussein. The Iraqi dictator repaid the favour by invading Kuwait. Infact Saudia is worried about the rising influence of Iran in the Middle East. Infact Saudia has nothing to do with the Middle East because when US invaded Iraq, Saudis did not mince a single world about US brazen invasion to Iraq.
Because hatred of Saddam Hussein blinded the Saudis to the consequences of what the Americans were doing.
Saudi Arabia is attacking Yemen; it’s not the other way round, the Houthis not by word or gesture showing any intention of marching into the extended desert of the Hejaz. But one would have a hard time guessing this from Pakistani official pronouncements, the foreign secretary indeed, in a rush of excitement, explaining that every Pakistani was ready to die for the sake of the defence of the two Holy Mosques. The question thus is worth repeating: who is contemplating an attack on the holy shrines?
Nawaz Sharif is just kidding with Pakistani nation that public would rise or do this and that for Saudia? One must ask Nawaz Sharif which public? JuD, SSP, LeT or LeJ? Definitely a layman has nothing to do with this conflict, he is worried about the rising inflation, terrorism, poor law and order situation, economy and other issues. He has nothing to do with the conflict of Monarchs.
