At least 20 civilians were reportedly killed this week in attacks on a mosque and the last remaining hospital in El-Fasher.
According to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) paramilitary group allegedly opened fire on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Saudi Hospital and a nearby mosque, where displaced families had taken shelter.
OCHA noted that the Saudi Hospital is “the last operational medical facility in the city, providing care to thousands of people affected by the conflict.”
