Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe by 69 runs on Sunday in the fourth match of the T20I tri-series at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

After winning the toss and electing to bat, Pakistan posted a total of 195 runs in their 20 overs, setting Zimbabwe a target of 196.

The innings began with openers Sahibzada Farhan and Saim Ayub. Saim, however, was once again unable to convert his start into a significant score, managing just 13 runs. Farhan then forged a stabilizing partnership with Babar Azam to anchor Pakistan’s innings.

Farhan played an impressive knock of 63 off 41 balls, hitting three sixes before falling at the total of 132.

Faheem Ashraf was run out shortly afterwards, and Babar Azam, who anchored the innings brilliantly, made 74 before being dismissed with Pakistan at 163.

Zimbabwe, chasing a target of 196, never found stability.

Their top order collapsed early, losing half the side for just 60 runs. The pressure persisted, and the entire team was bowled out for 126.

Pakistan’s Usman Tariq was the standout performer with the ball, claiming a spectacular hat-trick to seal the emphatic win.

This victory marks Pakistan’s second consecutive triumph over Zimbabwe in the event, in addition to their earlier win against Sri Lanka, keeping them firmly ahead in the tri-series standings.
