The Pakistan armed forces clashed with the militants in Khyber Agency during which at least 18 militants belonging to a banned outfit were killed, Geo News reported Thursday.
According to reports, the security forces launched operation in Tehsil Bara of Khyber Agency during which several militant hideouts were destroyed and 18 militants were also killed. Official sources said that an Uzbek militant commander Islamuddin was also killed in the attacks.
The dead bodies of the killed terrorists were shifted to Levies Centre, Jamrud. Sources told that the militants belonged to banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Lashkar-e-Islam.
On Thursday, security forces had killed 12 militants during clashes in Tehsil Jamrud and their bodies were also shifted to Jamrud Hospital.
