Pakistan’s security forces carried out two successful operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, eliminating seven terrorists linked to an India-backed militant group, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday.

The military’s media wing reported that six militants were killed during an intelligence-based operation in Mir Ali, North Waziristan. In a second operation in Spinwam, carried out on confirmed intelligence, one terrorist was neutralized following a brief exchange of fire.

The ISPR added that weapons and ammunition were recovered from the slain militants, who had been involved in multiple attacks on security forces, law enforcement personnel, and the targeted killing of civilians.

The spokesperson added that the ongoing counterterrorism drive under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam” is moving full steam ahead, aiming to root out foreign-backed terrorism and restore long-term stability in the region.
