A curfew will remain in effect in Tank district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Sunday (today) from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The district administration’s notification stated that markets in the Jandola subdivision will remain closed during the curfew. All movement will be strictly prohibited, and the Kok Qila–Khargi highway will be closed to traffic.
The notification further emphasized that entry onto the affected highways is strictly forbidden. In emergencies, travel on these routes is only permitted with approval from police or security forces, along with valid identity documents.
In addition, the notification further states that only approved emergency movements are allowed during the curfew.
Upon seeing the security forces, the vehicle should stop 50 metres ahead and all persons should get down. The responsibility for the violation will lie with the individual concerned, the notification added.
