Security forces killed 13 Indian-backed terrorists in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The ISPR said security forces launched an operation in Mohmand district after receiving intelligence reports about the presence of militants. Following an exchange of fire, seven terrorists were killed.
In a separate operation in Bannu district, security forces eliminated six more terrorists.
The ISPR added that security forces, in coordination with law enforcement agencies, are continuing clearance operations to eliminate any remaining Indian-backed terrorists in the area.
The statement added that under the approval of the Federal Apex Committee for the National Action Plan, the campaign to eliminate terrorism will continue with full intensity in line with the ‘Azm-e-Istehkam’ vision.
