Wars are devastating; there is no winner or loser in war. It always leaves behind burned homes, bruised corpses and weeping children. The ugliest side of the wars is dying innocent, the innocent children who even does not know what is war. In recent conflict between Palestine and Israel 373 children were killed. More than 10,000 children have been killed in the Syrian civil war, the United Nations says, while many more are subjected to “unspeakable” suffering, including rape, torture and recruitment for combat. Now in ongoing Yemen conflict in previous three days At least 62 children have been killed and 30 injured. Children are in desperate need of protection, and all parties to the conflict should do all in their power to keep children safe. It is indeed sheer brutality to kill the innocent Children.
The role of UNICEF and UN in this regard is shameful. Why there is no probe and investigation into Children killings? Children have nothing to do with their nefarious designs, they have nothing to do with wars, they do not claim any land, they have nothing to do with shameful power politics. Yes, those who are killing Children are indeed brutal, they are not human they deserve no mercy.
