Shafaqna Pakistan: Several residents of Kabul have voiced concerns over rising unemployment, saying that even securing a single daily meal has become increasingly difficult.
According to locals, job opportunities in the city have sharply declined, leaving people of all ages—from the young to the elderly—struggling to find work. Many residents report that their meager daily income is insufficient to cover basic living expenses, including food and rent.
Economic experts point to several factors contributing to the city’s growing unemployment, including a decline in investment, reduced foreign aid, population growth, and restrictions on women’s employment.
