ShafaqnaPakistan: The Rafi-Nia synagogue in Tehran was reportedly destroyed following US-Israeli strikes on Iran, according to Iranian media.
Footage showed civil defence workers searching through the rubble, with Hebrew-language books scattered across the site. In a video shared by Iran’s state-run IRIB News on Telegram, Homayoun Sameh, a Jewish representative in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, condemned the attack.
“Israel showed no mercy to this community during the Jewish holidays and targeted one of our ancient and holy synagogues,” he said. “Unfortunately, the building was destroyed, and our Torah scrolls were left buried under the rubble.”
