Shafaqna Pakistan: The Afghan Taliban abandoned their positions along the border in Nuristan and Kunar provinces, facing a major setback at the hands of Pakistan’s security forces during Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq.
Following their retreat, the Taliban reportedly sought refuge in mosques and attempted to escape the area by blending in with civilians.
Experts say that Pakistan’s security forces responded decisively to cross-border attacks, effectively thwarting the Taliban’s aggressive actions.
Afghan tribal elders claim that the Taliban failed to maintain security in the region and are spreading misinformation to conceal the extent of their defeat.
The negligence of the Afghan Taliban regime has forced the people to starve. Local population indicated that they will approach Pakistani security forces for help, they said.
According to experts, recent operations against the Taliban regime are proof that Pakistani security forces are fully capable of responding to any aggression.
Experts further said that by targeting terrorist hideouts, Pakistan sent a clear message that patronage of terrorists will no longer be tolerated.
