Shafaqna Pakistan: US President Donald Trump said in an interview with CNBC that he is not in favour of extending the ceasefire with Iran.
He maintained that the United States holds a strong position in the negotiations and is likely to secure what he described as a favourable deal.
“I don’t want to do that. We don’t have that much time,” Trump said when asked about the possibility of prolonging the ceasefire.
He warned that Washington could resume military action against Iran if an agreement is not reached soon.
“I expect to be bombing because I think that’s a better attitude to go in with. But we’re ready to go—the military is fully prepared,” he added.
