Iran’s Quds Force slams Israeli strike on Gaza flotilla

Shafaqna Pakistan: Iran’s Quds Force has condemned an اسرائیلی strike on a flotilla carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza, calling it a violation of international law.

According to media reports, Quds Force commander Brigadier General Esmail Qaani denounced the attack and strongly criticised the reported detention of pro-Palestinian activists on board, describing it as unacceptable and contrary to humanitarian principles.

Separately, Iran’s ambassador in Islamabad said Tehran has conveyed a fresh set of proposals to the United States through Pakistan, stressing that any progress in negotiations would depend on a shift in Washington’s approach.

“Iran has conveyed a new negotiation plan to the United States via Pakistan, and progress depends on the US behaviour,” Iran’s envoy, Reza Amiri Moghadam, told an Iranian news agency.

He said Tehran’s position remained “clear and transparent” and that it would not compromise on national interests or defence. “If the United States is serious about reaching an understanding, it must change its approach,” he added.

The ambassador described Pakistan as a “central mediator” in the process and said its role remained unchanged.
