South Waziristan attack thwarted, 7 civilians wounded

Shafaqna Pakistan: A suicide attack targeting a Pakistan Army check post in South Waziristan was thwarted, though seven civilians were injured in the incident.

Reports said militants attempted to strike a military post in the Azam Warsak area using an explosives-laden vehicle.

Security forces, maintaining a high state of alert, intercepted the vehicle and destroyed it before it could reach the installation.

The swift response averted a potentially larger tragedy, and the attacker was killed during the operation.

Following the incident, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.

Hospital officials confirmed that seven injured civilians were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Wana for treatment.
