The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released its latest annual T20 team rankings, with India retaining the top spot in the men’s standings, while Australia continues to lead the women’s rankings.
In the men’s table, India’s advantage has narrowed to 13 points. England is placed second, followed by Australia in third.
New Zealand, South Africa, Pakistan and the West Indies remain unchanged in fourth to seventh positions, respectively. Bangladesh is ranked eighth, while Sri Lanka has dropped to ninth, and Afghanistan rounds out the top ten.
In the women’s rankings, Australia maintains a strong lead at number one, with England in second place and India third. Pakistan’s women’s team is ranked eighth in the latest standings.
