Pakistan marks one year of Marka-e-Haq triumph over India

Shafaqna Pakistan: Marka-e-Haq marked its first anniversary on May 7, with commemorations held across Pakistan celebrating what was described as the outcome of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos following the 2025 escalation with India.

According to official narratives, the events of May 7, 2025, followed an unprovoked Indian attack, which Pakistan said was driven by hostile intentions. It is further claimed that during the confrontation, the Pakistan Air Force demonstrated strong operational capability and shot down multiple Indian aircraft, including three Rafale jets.

Indian authorities, meanwhile, have not publicly confirmed such losses, while Pakistani institutions say evidence of the damage was shared domestically. The occasion was used to pay tribute to the armed forces and acknowledge public support during the standoff.

Dunya Media Group has greeted the Pakistan Armed Forces and the nation for successful Operation Bunyanum Marsoos.

Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has said that the great victory of Marka-e-Haq delivered a clear and decisive message to India about Pakistan’s defense capabilities and national unity.

In a statement, he said that Marka-e-Haq is not just a historic event but a defining line that has been drawn permanently. According to him, it has made clear that any future adventurism will be met with an even stronger and more decisive response.

Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Ahmed Khan on Tuesday said that historic and resounding success in Marka-e-Haq has elevated Pakistan’s stature at the global level.

Addressing a press conference at the Punjab Assembly, Malik Ahmad Khan, said that after victory in the Marka-e-Haq [battle of truth], the world has come to recognize Pakistan’s capabilities.

He termed the Pakistan’s success in Operation “Bunyan-un-Marsoos” a historic milestone. He said the operation not only crushed the adversary’s arrogance but also demonstrated unprecedented national unity and cohesion.
