Shafaqna Pakistan: President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif held a meeting with Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Pakistan Alisher Tukhtaev to discuss matters of mutual interest and bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, both sides held detailed discussions on various aspects of relations between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
Nawaz Sharif emphasised the longstanding and deep-rooted ties between the two countries, stating that the relationship is based on strong historical and friendly foundations.
“Pakistan and Uzbekistan share historic, religious, and cultural ties, which provide a solid foundation to further strengthen and consolidate our bilateral relations,” Nawaz Sharif stated during the conversation.
Ambassador Alisher Tukhtaev reiterated Uzbekistan’s commitment to maintaining and valuing its friendly relations with Pakistan.
He expressed a strong desire to further expand mutual cooperation across various sectors, aiming to elevate the strategic partnership to new heights.
