Shafaqna Pakistan: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Friday met with the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, in Makkah.
Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa welcomed Naqvi upon his arrival at the Muslim World League headquarters. During the meeting, both leaders discussed matters related to Islamic and regional affairs.
The interior minister praised the Muslim World League’s efforts in promoting Islamic awareness and education, and also commended the Saudi government for its arrangements for Hajj pilgrims.
He said Saudi authorities had made exceptional arrangements this year for the facilitation and care of pilgrims, and expressed gratitude to the Saudi leadership for their efforts.
Mohsin Naqvi further stated that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are bound by historic Islamic ties. The Secretary General of the Muslim World League also congratulated the Interior Minister on performing Hajj.
