Public Went Through Difficult Times Under PTI Rule, Says KP Governor

Shafaqna Pakistan: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has stated that people faced significant hardships during the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of a new National Database and Registration Authority office on Saturday, he said that citizens’ businesses were allegedly targeted as a form of political retaliation.

The KP governor further noted that the province is rich in resources, yet its population continues to experience economic difficulties and challenges. He also announced a gas supply project for Kurai and Kotla Syedan.

Earlier, Kundi had said that efforts were being stepped up to resume commercial activities at Dera Ismail Khan Airport, adding that the airport would soon be operational for ATR flights once the remaining development work is completed.

Talking to media representatives, Kundi thanked Defence Minister Khawaja Asif for his support regarding the revival of Dera Airport and said runway carpeting had already been completed, while additional work was in progress to restore regular flight operations.
