Shafaqna Pakistan: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi met Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday, where they discussed the province’s law and order situation, counter-terrorism efforts, and other matters of mutual concern.
The two officials reviewed ongoing measures to tackle terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, focusing particularly on steps being taken to restore peace and stability.
The governor briefed the interior minister on the province’s security challenges, while both sides exchanged views on strategies to ensure long-term stability.
During the meeting, Governor Kundi and Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to security forces for successful intelligence-based operations against militants referred to as Fitna al-Hindustan, and acknowledged the sacrifices of martyrs in the fight against terrorism.
The interior minister assured full federal cooperation in maintaining peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, adding that the sacrifices of security forces for restoring stability in the province would always be remembered.
He said the federal government was extending complete support to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for strengthening security and ensuring durable peace across the province.
