Shafaqna Pakistan: Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a sharp decline on Tuesday, with the price of gold falling by Rs8,600 per tola amid weakness in international markets, reportedly influenced by delays in reaching an agreement between Iran and the United States.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola dropped to Rs467,762. Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs7,373, settling at Rs401,030.
In the international market, gold prices fell by $86 per ounce, bringing the rate down to $4,544 per ounce.
Silver prices also moved lower in the local market, with the per-tola rate declining by Rs259 to Rs7,894.
